Vision on Art and Nature

"The use of direct imaging in my photocopy works is related to my vision of art & nature. Natural, three dimensional objects are placed on the platen and copied. Sometimes there is some manipulation or intervention performed during the copying process to create works that include movement and abstraction. The basis for all of the work is nature, whether I'm using parts of my body or found objects as my subject matter. Art is always produced from one's relationship to one's environment, whether it be sensory, emotional or intellectual."
